How to Achieve Compliance

Once your Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Plan has been certified by the District, we suggest that you keep the following in mind:

  • Pre-construction meeting: We highly recommend that applicants schedule a pre-construction meeting with District staff to review the requirements of the Soil Erosion and Sediment Control plan.
  • Know your plan: If site changes are required after your plans are certified, you may need to submit a revised plan to the District. This should be done before changes are made on the site. Follow the 20 Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Notes.

72-Hour Notice Card: Fill out and return the 72-Hour Notice Card by mail (found in the application packet) or fax it to (732)683-9140 at least 72 hours prior to starting any soil disturbance. You may also email your 72-Hour Notice request to info@freeholdscd.org.
